This morning, I had a fun photo shoot - we piled jewelry onto our model and the photographer got some really great lifestyle shots! I’m going to be adding some to the website very soon.
I’ve learned that it’s important to show jewelry on an actual human being. I wish I could hire someone to model every piece of jewelry I make, but that’s really just not possible. So I’ve started to take photos of myself wearing the pieces so that it’s easier for people to see the scale and also to emotionally connect with the piece and imagine it fitting in to their life.
Do you have any photography tips or lessons that you’ve learned along the way? I’d love to hear them!
